1. How to break
down tutor's payment deposit?
Once Language MaMa verified lesson
details and
tutor payment deposit with
parent/student by phone, parent/student
must make deposit cash into Language
MaMa's specified bank account within
24 hours; please write down student
name and case number on upper left
corner of the deposit slip and fax
to our office. Our officers will notify
parents/students the date and time
first lesson commences when we receive
the fax.
Example: a student having two 1-hour
lessons per week and each lesson cost
$250, the tutor payment deposit is:
$250 x 1 hour x 2 days x 2 weeks
= $1,000

Remarks:
Tutor payment deposit is based on
the agreed number of lessons between
Language MaMa and parents. If an increase
number of lessons or lesson duration
during the first 2 weeks, tutor payment
deposit will increase proportionally
and the parent shall not be in dispute.
In case the parent requests for a
change of tutor during the first week,
it is important to notify us so that
we can assign a new tutor as soon
as possible; tutor payment deposit
will be reviewed and the difference
must be settled by cash deposit into
Language MaMa's specified bank account
within 24 hours, otherwise, we will
consider parent/student abandoned
the request for change of tutor. Parents/students
can only request for a change of tutor
twice maximum.
Language MaMa tutor-student matching
service is free for parents/students.
Tutor payment deposit is only reserved
for tutors' salary. Tutor payments
will be settled directly by the parent
from the 3rd week onwards, since the
tutors do not form any employment
relationship with the company, and
any subsequent agreements between
parents/students and the tutors bear
no responsibility on Language MaMa
after the first 2 weeks' introductory
period.
