lesson by calling our hotline
from Monday to Friday 10 am
to 6 pm and Saturday 10am to

and we will contact you at the
earliest.

How to search for decent prized
and experienced tutors?
怎樣可以找到學費便宜、經驗豐富的導師?
Tutors' fees are set according
to the type of lessons, student
backgrounds, tutor qualifications
and teaching experiences. Even
if tutors' willingness to accept
lower fees, Language MaMa would
not suggest parents/students
to lower much the tutor fees
as this may narrow down the
choice of quality tutors. Good
tutors normally charge according
to market standard or higher;
even of parents/parents successfully
hire a good tutor lower than
market standard, the tutor may
not accept the lower fee for
long. We suggest parents/students
to offer tutor fees at market
level or higher to ensure the
quality of one-to-one tuition.
導師學費一般根據課堂類型,學生程度、導師學歷及教學經驗釐定。即使部分導師願意收取低廉學費,Language
MaMa亦不建議家長/學生把學費定得太低,否則可選擇的導師必然減少,質素亦有可能有所偏差。此外,經驗豐富的導師一般會收取公價或高於公價的學費,即使家長/學生幸運地找到學費較便宜的導師,亦難以保證導師會否長期接受低於市價的學費收費。
因此,我們奉勸家長/學生,為確保導師質素,請以學費市價、甚至高於市價招募導師,否則難以充分發揮1對1教學之作用。

should I pay the tutor fee?

Parents/students should pay
the tutor daily/weekly/bi-weekly.
Since lessons are one-to-one
and flexible, we would not suggest
monthly payments as disputes
on fees may arise. Parents/students
should set up a lesson record
to be signed up by tutors at
each lesson to avoid misunderstandings
later on.
家長/學生應每日/每周次/每兩周次繳付學費予導師。因應1對1導師之上課彈性,我們不同意家長/學生每月結算學費。
為使雙方避免在學費上減少不必要的爭拗,家長/學生應與導師制定上課簽到表,每次上課都必須紀錄,以使雙方保持良好關係。

Any employer-employee relations
between parents/students and

Tutors offer parents/students
an independent contractual service,
and the contacts of the two
parties are introduced via Language
MaMa. Parents/students are only
required to pay tutors' fees
and without MPF or employee
compensation insurance since
there is no employer-employee
relation.
家長/學生與導師是一種獨立聘約形式之合作關係,簡單而言,家長/學生與導師透過Language
Mama取得彼此聯繫,導師向家長/學生提供語言學習服務,而家長/學生則支付該服務之費用。因為,雙方並非僱傭關係,故此亦無須為強積金供款或購買勞工保險。

If a tutor's performance is
unsatisfactory, can parents/students
request for a change of tutor
and refund of first 2 weeks'
tutor fee deposit?
如果對導師的表現不太滿意,請問可不可以要求你們替我更換導師及退回首兩個星期之導師費?
Parent/student should first
discuss with the tutor if unsatisfied
with the lessons since it is
the parent/student choice for
the tutor. If the problem cannot
be resolved, the parent can
request Language MaMa for a
change of tutor during the first
week; only 2 changes are allowed
in total. If the replacement
tutor's fee is higher than the
original tutor's, the parent
needs to pay the difference,
and if the replacement tutor's
fee is lower than the original
tutor's, Language MaMa will
refund the difference from the
tutor fee deposit.
由於導師是由學生/家長自行挑選,故此如客戶對導師有任何不滿,應先行向導師表達意見,若問題仍未解決,可在上課的首星期內向本公司提出更換導師之要求。由於家長是按照自己的要求而選擇導師,故此本公司只限更換導師兩次,而不允許無限次更換導師。假若家長選擇的新導師的時薪高於原來導師時,家長亦需要繳付導師費之差價,但假若新的導師費低於原來時薪時,本公司承諾退回貴客戶多付的導師費按金。
